BTrade Market View

Market View methodology, coverage and sources

How BTrade Market View handles identities, quotes, historical observations, stale data, comparisons and provider rights.

Working coverage: eight crypto assets, six curated ETFs and six curated stocks. ETF and stock values are daily listing observations, not intraday execution prices or total returns.

Operations, rights and measurement

A shared server adapter caches snapshots, deduplicates concurrent requests, times out slow calls and backs off after throttling. The browser receives no provider credentials and the page does not auto-refresh.

The public provider plan, display rights, attribution, quotas and spend limits must be approved before expanding coverage. Image export stays disabled until display rights are confirmed.

Currency views use exact UTC date matching with Frankfurter/ECB reference rates. Weekends and ECB holidays remain missing; conversion is not hedged performance.

Anonymous product measurement is not activated until a consent-aware measurement system and retention policy are approved.

Initial coverage

Market View supports eight crypto assets, six curated ETFs and six curated stocks. Crypto uses spot observations; ETF and stock views use daily listing observations that may be delayed or end-of-day.

Source and adapter

CoinGecko and the Yahoo Finance daily chart feed are used through a same-origin server adapter. Responses carry source, retrieval time, listing currency, coverage and freshness metadata.

History and comparisons

Historical charts use valid provider observations and price return. Missing observations are shown as gaps; no silent interpolation, total-return claim or currency-hedged claim is made. Rebased comparisons start at 100 on a common valid observation.

What is not enabled

Intraday execution-grade equity quotes, ETF holdings and overlap, total-return histories, licensed news context and generative AI explanations remain unavailable. The daily price view and fixed-prompt ETF learning desk are available.

Privacy and local features

Watchlists and last-look timestamps stay in the browser. They are not accounts and are not sent to the server. Shared links contain only public instrument IDs and display settings, never holdings or personal amounts.

Provider documentation

The enabled price endpoints are documented by CoinGecko. Public display, caching, derived-data and redistribution rights remain subject to the selected plan and terms.
